Brooke Sharkey’s journey with dance began at a very young age, starting with ballet at just 3 years old. Her love for movement quickly blossomed, inspiring her to explore a wide range of styles including jazz, tap, hip hop, and contemporary. By the age of 5, Brooke’s dedication had already propelled her into the world of competitive dance. She has since performed at numerous competitions both locally and internationally, including the prestigious Dance the World event at Disney.
While Brooke appreciates all forms of dance, she is especially known for her skill and artistry in Tap. Her commitment to the art extends beyond her personal training she has also taken on leadership roles as a teacher and assistant in various dance classes, sharing her knowledge and passion with younger dancers.
Brooke is currently pursuing a Concurrent Education degree with a Bachelor of Child and Youth Studies (Primary/Junior) at Brock University. Alongside her studies, she works as a supply teacher with the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board, gaining valuable experience in the classroom. Her enthusiasm for working with children and her drive to grow both creatively and academically continue to shape her journey as an educator and artist.
