Charayah Romo
Assistant/Substitute Instructor
Charayah started dancing with her first Ballet class at the age of 3 and entered her first competition at the age of 5. Charayah continued dancing both recreationally and competitively up until graduation. Each year Charayah danced in her studio's Competitive Production numbers. They're Productions received many awards including First Place, Best Production and cash prizes. After years of training in Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Tap, she found her passion in Hip-Hop and various styles of international dance. Her passion for music and dance led her to teach, and by the age of 15, she was teaching both recreationally and competitively in the genres of Song&Dance, Bolly-Jazz, Musical Theatre and Hip-Hop. Her dances have received multiple first-place standings and most outstanding awards. Charayah has had the opportunity to perform in community events such as the 2010 Paralympic Opening Ceremony and Broadway's Singing Christmas Tree. She is very excited about this new adventure with Peak Dance Company and is looking forward to this upcoming year.
