Ballet Instructor
Shae graduated from York University with a Specialized B.F.A with Honours and completed the Joint Teacher Training Program at Canada's National Ballet School with Honours. During this intensive program, Shae studied numerous dance styles, including Cecchetti Ballet, RAD Ballet, NBS Ballet, Creative Dance for Young Children, National Dance, and Character. She has completed many vocational and teaching exams in these styles. While at NBS, Shae was awarded her Associate in ISTD National Dance and awarded her Ballet Associate CC-CICB and Ballet Division associate CDTA. Shae has been studying various dance disciplines from a young age, such as Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, and Lyrical/Contemporary. During her training Shae completed various vocational exams, attaining her Advanced 1 Cecchetti Ballet in 2019. Shae has had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Carol Anderson, Michael Greyeyes, Susan Lee, Emily Rapley and Michelle Silagy. She performed in dance festivals throughout Toronto, such as The Fringe Festival. Shae's love for ballet and teaching led her to pursue a career as a dance instructor. She began her teaching journey in 2018 and is thrilled to join the team at Peak Dance Co.
