Celina's dance journey is truly remarkable and filled with diverse experiences. Starting at the age of two with ballet, she quickly expanded into various other styles such as Jazz, Musical Theatre, Hip-Hop, and Lyrical. Her passion for Musical Theatre became evident early on, allowing her to express different characters and live out her Broadway dreams.
Her competitive spirit and talent shone through as she joined her studio's Company/Competitive group at the age of ten. Over the years, Celina excelled in competitions, performed at prestigious venues like Disneyland and the 2010 Winter Olympics, and received numerous awards for her Musical Theatre solos, duos, and trios.
As Celina's journey continued, she not only honed her skills as a dancer but also as a choreographer and teacher. By the age of fifteen, she was choreographing Musical Theatre dances and assisting in various dance classes. By seventeen, she was teaching competitive classes herself, demonstrating her commitment to passing on her knowledge and passion to younger dancers.
Celina's choreography has been recognized with multiple awards, showcasing her creativity and skill in crafting compelling dance pieces. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes creating a supportive environment where students can have fun while being challenged to grow both as dancers and actors.​
Her involvement in special events and performances further highlights her versatility and dedication to the dance community. She has choreographed for several special events held at large venues, such as Ivivva Events (Lululemon affiliated), Broadway Singing Christmas Tree, PNE Canada Day Event, Queen Elizabeth Christmas Show, just to name a few. These events highlight her versatility and skill in choreography across different types of performances and audiences Celina's enthusiasm and love for dance are evident throughout her journey, making her a valuable addition to any dance family, including Peak Dance.
Overall, Celina's story is one of dedication, talent, and a deep-seated passion for dance and Musical Theatre, inspiring both her students and peers alike.
